I went to a few thrift stores the week of Thanksgiving and found this amazing forest green cardigan for $4! I think it's important for people to know they don't have to spend hundreds to pull together a cool outfit. I love going to kitchy little hole in the wall places. The sort of places people would stick their nose up to, because those are the places with the most unique and interesting finds.
So be brave, and venture into unknown stores and make sure you are completely unfamiliar with your surroundings. Those are the times and places where you'll discover a new side of yourself.
I'll tell you how I made these dual tone shorts. First you have to find a nice pair of high waisted shorts. I bought these at Goodwill for like $3 or something. Second, I rolled them up from the left pocket to the right one, if you understand what I mean. Third, I poured about 2 inches of clorox into a small bucket and placed the rolled shorts into the bucket to let the clorox rise naturally up the fabric from the bottom up. Lastly, I let them dry (unrolled) on a hanger and voila, dual tone shorts in a cinch!
