My friends and I stopped by Knauss Berry Farm yesterday since they've officially opened for the season. It seems like everyone in South Florida sets their clocks to the farms opening, and for the first few weeks the lines practically lead into the road. They sell delicious artisanal goodies like pies, breads, jams and best of all sticky buns!
Afterwards we made our way to Cauley Square, which is about 5 minutes away, and ate our treats. Cauley Square is a historical village from the pioneer days, and was built to house railroad workers in the 1900's while they built the Key West Railway. All the houses and buildings have been preserved but are now little antique shops, tea houses and restaurants.
