My Favorite Breakfast

As long as I can remember breakfast at home has always been a fresh baguette with cafe au lait. My mom has this for breakfast religiously and nothing else. When I was little she wouldn't want any of the kids to drink coffee so she would make a cup of steamed milk with a touch of coffee in it. We'd be so proud to sit alongside the adults and drink our own mug in the mornings lol


Nowadays I drink all the coffee I want! So there Mom ;P But yeah there's something about fresh bread, cool creamy butter and some roasted peanut butter that warms the cockles of my heart. This Miami version is made with Pilon espresso and freshly made cuban bread rolls.


I'm in heaven. :)
