I had the pleasure of stopping by one of Miami's best vintage boutiques, Miami Twice. I remember coming here years ago to buy Sailormoon shirts when I was still in middle school. It always looked like a wonderland to me. During my recent visit I got to meet owner Mary Kyle Holle and two of her awesome in-store stylists and sales girls Stephanie and Pandora. (Side Note: Pandora has a cool fashion blog too people, check out By The Mouthfuls !)
Mary told me that her shop opened 28 years ago and has always been at the same location. She opened it with her mother and sister in 1985 and since then they've stayed true to selling amazing vintage jewelry, antiques and clothing. (Quick Fact: Before Miami Twice opened, the building was a beauty school called Wilfred Beauty Academy.)
This store is a high-end vintage shop and prices range from $40 and up. But guess what?! You can rent out some of their vintage items for around half the sales price. Who wouldn't want a one of a kind vintage dress to wear to that next event?! Just be careful with the drinks guys. Although, it'll give you the perfect opportunity to stick your hand in someone's face and say, "Please, don't get soo close. This is vintageeee." Then you can do a little spin and get back to partying.

Did I mention they have a 20% off sale that runs until this Saturday, January 12th on all modern clothes! So you know, they get fresh inventory on their modern clothes throughout the week, and new inventory on their vintage items a few times a month.Once you've been in the store a few times you'll get a sense of how it's divided, with modern clothes towards the front and vintage towards the back. There's also a healthy mix of antiques, jewelry and costumes in the store as well. They even have a conveyor system full of gorgeous authentic vintage clothing. So if you're ever looking for that perfect flapper dress, you know where to go.
