I love that my rural neighborhood sits in the middle of protected forests. Literally all you see are huge pines and little wildlife in all directions by my house. Rabbits inconveniently hop across the street and you WILL see a lot of horse poo on the road lol. I don't mind the roosters though. So, I think because of all this I have a strong connection to nature. I just love visiting parks, and sitting amongst the trees, staring at the sky. I also LOVE camping!
I know I wrote a post a while ago about a group of us going camping and it never happened :( Super bummed. I have like 2 tents, a double burner that works with propane tanks, and a bunch of other gear that's just raring to get to work. The weather is actually super nice this weekend. Hmm...I wonder if I can coax my buddies into an impromptu camping trip.
Okay, I'm way off topic now, lol. Where was I? Ah yes, nature. Well I took a morning walk over to the edge of some forestry and just sort of took it in. It was really windy and cold and I passed some other walkers but they were friendly. I wore this vintage skort which is very 3rd grade but such an amazing find, with an old Target corduroy tank, leather Forever 21 bomber and my converses. Ofcourse I can't forget two amazing pieces that pulled the whole look together. My new Momacat braided collar necklace and E Fox City cubed ring which were both amazing gifts. They really pump up any outfit.
Not listening to any music right now guys, just the crickets chirping outside my window. That reminds me! If you like the outdoors and you're ever in the Miami area, check out my Parks & Rec section on my other blog, The Jam Garden. :>
